REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CULVERT REHABILITATION FOR DEERFIELD DRIVE 

The City of Kennesaw is accepting sealed bids at the City Clerk’s Office, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Kennesaw, GA 30144 from general contractors to provide all labor, material, equipment and services necessary for Culvert Rehabilitation for Deerfield Drive consisting of three (3) 96-inch CMP culverts, each 60 feet long.  The work involves slip lining or spin cast lining of the existing pipes.  There will be a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Public Works Department, 3080 Moon Station Road, Kennesaw, GA to discuss the project.  All proposals will be rejected from companies whose representative(s) did not attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting.  Two (2) copies of the proposal packet must be placed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Culvert Rehabilitation for Deerfield Drive” and received in the City Clerk’s Office, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Kennesaw, GA 30144 no later than 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and available for public review.  Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.  Proposals submitted shall be good for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the proposals.  The City of Kennesaw reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.  The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or technicalities relative to any or all bids or proposals and to request any additional information or clarification deemed necessary for the evaluation of any bid or proposal.

POLICE VEHICLES 

The City of Kennesaw is accepting sealed bids for the purpose of obtaining two (2) 2012 Chevy Caprice vehicles (one 9C1 Patrol, one 9C3 Detective); two (2) 2012 Chevy Tahoe vehicles (one Police Patrol Vehicle, one Special Service Vehicle); two (2) 2013 Ford All-Wheel SUV Interceptors (one Echo Boost Patrol, one Detective); two (2) 2013 Ford Interceptor All-Wheel vehicles.  We invite vendors to submit proposals in accordance with the requirements, terms, and conditions of this Request for Proposal (RFP).  The RFP sets forth the requirements for the vehicles and related equipment, submission of and specified format for proposals, and solicits a detailed response from vendors to include detailed descriptions.  Vendors should be within a 200 mile radius of the City of Kennesaw City Hall location.  To obtain a bid packet with the specifications and provisions required for submission of a proposal, please contact the City Clerk’s Office by email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - Main Street Plaza - Phase 2 Electrical Construction

The Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority, Kennesaw, Georgia is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced electrical firms to perform electrical construction at the City of Kennesaw’s Main Street Plaza. The Main Street Plaza is located at 2820 Main Street in Kennesaw, Georgia. The requirements for this project will include all labor, materials and supplies necessary to construct and complete this project. Given the complexity of the project, a mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted to review scope, provide supporting documentation, to allow for a site review and to answer any questions. Attendance at the February 21, 2011 pre-bid meeting is mandatory for your proposal to be considered. The pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 pm in the downstairs Community Development Conference Room, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Interested bidders will be provided a copy of the proposed electrical plans at the pre-bid meeting that will support your proposal preparation.

Sealed proposals must be received by the City of Kennesaw City Clerk’s Office, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Kennesaw, Georgia 30144 no later than 3:00 p.m. March 9, 2011. The sealed proposals must be labeled on the outside of the envelope"Main Street Plaza Electrical" in order to be considered. Any sealed proposals received with the incorrect labeling or from parties who did not attend the pre-proposal conference will not be considered. Proposals will be opened 3:00 p.m. March 9, 2011 in the City Hall Conference Room. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered. Proposals shall be good for a period of ninety (90) days from the opening of the proposals. The City of Kennesaw reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
