The Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority is hosting a fun Halloween season film series, bringing free “drive-in” movies to Kennesaw’s Depot Park on three October Friday nights (October 6, 13, and 27) leading up to Halloween. Called Friday Night Frights, concessions will be available beginning at 7:30 pm and feature films begin at 8:30 pm.
Movies include Japanese Monster Night featuring Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973) and Gammera the Invincible (1966) on October 6; The Undead Night featuring The Brain That Wouldn’t Die (1962) and Night Of The Living Dead (1968) on October 13; and Vincent Price Night featuring The House on Haunted Hill (1959) and The Bat (1959) on October 27. For your comfort, bring a blanket or low-back chairs. Pop-up tents, canopies or beach umbrellas that can obstruct the view of others are not permitted. Admission is free, but a non-perishable food donation for MUST Ministries is gratefully accepted.
