The Community Development Department is a coordinated network of services of Planning and Zoning, Building Services, Economic Development, Code Enforcement and the GIS Departments.
The Community Development Department provides citizens and business owners with the necessary guidance to comply with the existing regulations and ordinances to maintain the viability of the City.
The Department assists citizens and officials in planning growth in the City, while also encouraging and coordinating public and private participation in the planning process to achieve the goals established by elected officials.
