Kennesaw's Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the City. The Mayor presides over all meetings of the City Council, votes only in the case of a tie and has veto power.
The Mayor appoints a member of the City Council to serve as chairman of each City department. Click here for department directory.
The Mayor executes contracts, deeds and other official documents as authorized by the City Council.
