The first step in the hiring process is successful completion of the physical agility test. No applications will be given out prior to completion of the physical agility testing. No appointment for testing is necessary.  Please dress in appropriate attire for physical exercise and bring a photo ID. All physical agility testing is conducted at the Bobby Grant Police Annex, 2934 Cherokee St., Kennesaw, GA 30144. The test consists of 29 sit-ups and 21 push-ups in one minute; sit and reach 17 inches; vertical jump 17 inches; and 300 meter run in 64 seconds.All Police Applicants are required to complete the following:

Physical Agility Test (complete before applying)
Ga. POST Academy Entrance Exam (Ga. POST Certified Officers are Exempt)
Background Investigation
Psychological Exam/Interview
Polygraph Examination
Drug Screen
Hiring Board Interview


The Department is not currently accepting applications.  No physical fitness test is currently scheduled.  When the schedule is determined, it will be posted here.  Please do not call with inquiries about fitness test scheduling and do not apply at this time.
