The City of Kennesaw Police Department is a progressive and innovative agency serving a diverse population of over 30,000 in the metropolitan Atlanta area. The Kennesaw Police Department is currently accredited by the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP) and the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
The Department is actively recruiting Police Officers. Physical agility tests will be conducted the 3rd Friday of each month at 7 am. Please do not call with inquiries about physical agility test scheduling and do not request an application prior to taking the physical agility test.
There will be no physical agility testing conducted in the month of April 2013.

The first step in the hiring process is successful completion of the physical agility test. No applications will be given out prior to completion of the physical agility testing. No appointment for testing is necessary. Please dress in appropriate attire for physical exercise and bring a photo ID. All physical agility testing is conducted at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive. The test consists of 29 sit-ups and 21 push-ups in one minute; sit and reach 17 inches; vertical jump 17 inches; and 300 meter run in 64 seconds.
