Splash Pad Begins Weekend Schedule on July 30

July 17th, 2017 by Pam Davis

The splash pad located in Kennesaw’s Swift-Cantrell Park will shift to a weekend only schedule beginning July 31 and continuing until September 3. Hours of operation on Saturday and Sunday will be 10 am to 7 pm, weather permitting.

Admission is $2 per person; children ages 2 and under are free. Capacity is limited so admittance is first-come, first-served. Cash and major credit cards are accepted. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Swim suits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times. Guests will be identified by wrist bands so that they may leave and return on the same day.

The splash pad is a collaborative effort between the city and Cobb County and was funded by 2016 Cobb County Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST). The 3,200-square foot facility offers various water play options appealing to all ages, including a fountain spray, ground geyser, jet stream, and multiple sea silhouettes. The venue is fenced in and includes shade structures and seating.

Swift-Cantrell Park is located at 3140 Old 41 Highway.
