Budgetel Fire – Red Cross Update

The City of Kennesaw would like to thank its residents for their outpour of assistance to the people that have been displaced by the unfortunate fire at the Budgetel Extended Stay Hotel. Here is an update provided by the Red Cross.

Donations of gently used items will be accepted today, March 12, 2018 until 3:00 p.m.

At this time the specific items needed include; feminine hygiene products, socks, sweat pants and shirts, baby formula, diapers and toiletries.  These items will be accepted at the Ben Robertson Community Center located at 2753 Watts Drive, Kennesaw today and tomorrow, Tuesday, March 13, 2018.



Families impacted by the fire are welcome to visit the Ben Robertson Community Center at 2753 Watts Drive, Kennesaw to select what they need from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. today Monday, March 12, 2018 and tomorrow Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Items available include:

  • Clothing
  • Jackets
  • Baby products
  • Soap
  • Deodorant
  • Toothbrushes/ toothpaste
  • School supplies
