The City of Kennesaw has released an official mobile app to better connect with residents. The app is available in the Apple App Store and the Android Google Play store and provides residents and visitors enhanced access to city and community resources.
The City of Kennesaw App puts city services at the fingertips of the community. The new app will allow users to easily access city services and information, report concerns and locate local resources.
“We are excited to introduce the City of Kennesaw App,” said Mayor Derek Easterling. “With the ability to report concerns, contact city offices and departments, and locate city amenities and businesses, this app provides an additional opportunity for the City of Kennesaw to be engaged with our residents.”

The calendar tab of the app offers the ability to view information about upcoming events, including date, time and location, and gives users the option to add events and meetings to their mobile calendars. The City will also be able to utilize the app to send out push notifications about events, road closures and other information.
Using the phone’s location services, the app provides a menu of nearby businesses, including restaurants and retail. The app also features a parking map for the downtown area. Using the map, app users can see what specific parking lots are open and follow directions to all downtown parking lots using the phones’ map system.
App users have access contact information for city offices, links to information for city amenities, and mayor and city council bios and contact information. Users will also find links to the City’s social media platforms, e-news resident newsletter and latest press releases and access the online document center. Additionally, the app will allow residents and business owners to access the City’s online payment portal and utilize the City’s “report a concern” online platform.
