Experience selected pieces from our permanent sculpture collection as you’ve never seen them before- surrounded by over 10,000 daffodil blooms planted in unique patterns! The two-month exhibit includes a series of weekend artists’ demonstrations and workshops. Art Ambassadors will share behind-the-scenes stories of our artists and sculptures each weekend. Special exhibit opening May 8th will feature sculptures by students from KSU’s School of Art and Design. Join us through the spring for this special exhibit!

Art in the Park: Terrarium Making @ The General Picnic Pavilion, Swift-Cantrell Park

Kennesaw Parks & Rec is hosting a Terrarium making workshop for May’s Art in the Park event. The event will be held at Swift-Cantrell Park at The General Pavilion.  Parks & Rec staff will lead participants through the process of creating their own terrariums.  Participants will have their choice of succulents and various decorations to incorporate into two small terrariums. All materials will be supplied and no artistic talent or experience is necessary.  Light snacks and drinks will be available onsite or participants are welcome to bring their own food. Please remember that glass is not permitted in the park.

  • As we reopen City Hall to the public and move towards in-person public meetings, please review the plan below:
    • If you are not able to attend a meeting in-person and would like to provide public comment on a specific agenda item, you can email kennesawcouncil@kennesaw-ga.gov no later than 6:00 PM the night of the regular meeting. Your comments on a specific agenda item will be read aloud or grouped into categories for the record.
    • The meeting will be broadcast live on Facebook! Join us at  www.facebook.com/CityofKennesaw.
    • Seating in the City Hall Council Chambers is limited, due to social distancing. Overflow seating will be available at the Ben Robertson Community Center. The meeting will be broadcast at the Community Center & those in attendance will have the opportunity to speak to Mayor & Council via video call for public comment.

    • Doors will open at 5:30 PM. All guests will be screened & evaluated upon entrance and will have their temperature taken.

    • The City encourages attendees to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including a face covering.
    • The City of Kennesaw asks that anyone who has symptoms or has been exposed to anyone having symptoms including, but not limited to, having a fever over 100.4°F, cough, or shortness of breath to please stay home and email their public comment to kennesawcouncil@kennesaw-ga.gov.
