You must own, occupy and claim the property as your primary residence. You must be age 65 or older as of January 1 in the year of which you are applying. Applications are available online and in the office. All applications must be submitted on or before April 1 with a copy of your Driver’s license or State ID. Additionally, you must file an exemption application with Cobb County Tax Commissioner.
