Battle of Kennesaw Mountain
Learn more about the various battles and skirmishes that took place along the Kennesaw Line during the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain, a significant clash during the five months of fighting in and around Atlanta. June 27, 1864 marks the 160th anniversary of the Atlanta Campaign, when the Civil War came to Georgia in earnest.

About the Speaker: 
James Pratt is a National Park Service Ranger with the Interpretation Division of Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. As a Park Guide, Ranger James has been in charge of developing and presenting informational programs about the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain as well as guiding park visitors on battlefield walks, natural history hikes and museum tours. He also assists with genealogical research for descendants of soldiers who served in the Atlanta Campaign.
