Kennesaw Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the Back 2 School Jam, a free, family-friendly event designed to get students ready for the upcoming school year. The event will take place on Saturday, July 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kennesaw Recreation Center. 

Families attending the Back 2 School Jam will enjoy a fun-filled day of face painting, games, cotton candy, and popcorn, plus opportunities for free health screenings. Local vendors will also be on hand with giveaways and helpful information for both children and parents. Additionally, families will have the opportunity to register for the 2026- 2027 season of the Kennesaw Hoops Youth Basketball League and receive a special 10% discount on the registration fee.

School Supplies & Book Bags: Kennesaw Parks & Recreation will provide book bags and school supplies while supplies last, ensuring local students have the tools they need to start the year off right. Community members are encouraged to donate new school supplies leading to the event to help local children in need. Donations can be dropped off at the Kennesaw Recreation Center during regular business hours.

Admission is completely free, and all are welcome to join in the fun and community spirit.
