Presented by Jolee Johnson, Archivist at the Southern Museum, this program will provide an overview of women’s history in the 19th century, focusing on their philanthropy efforts. Topics will include women’s rights, abolition, and sanitation initiatives, as well as the traditions of charity and mutual aid in America.
