Join the Southern Museum for our Women’s History Month Celebration on Saturday, March 19. A living history encampment discusses the role nurses played during the Civil War. A special display of medical artifacts from the Museum collection supplements the presentation. Several craft activities make connections to women’s contributions to American history. A movie about women during the Civil War will be shown throughout the day. A themed gallery guide will also be available. (Regular museum admission rates apply.)
