KENNESAW, Ga. (April 11, 2025) — The City of Kennesaw is bringing back its highly anticipated Outdoor Movie Series, kicking off the season with a special screening of DreamWorks Animation Studios: Wicked Sing-Along on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Swift-Cantrell Park. The movie will be shown on a large inflatable screen at 8:15 p.m. and is rated PG, making it a perfect family-friendly event.

This unique screening of Wicked invites attendees to sing along with the iconic songs and participate in interactive activities. The event will create an engaging atmosphere for both long-time fans and newcomers to the beloved musical.

The evening will also feature a variety of pre-movie entertainment. Guests can enjoy food vendors, family-friendly activities, and a dance workshop led by a professional choreographer, teaching popular Wicked choreography. Wicked Trivia will offer a chance for attendees to win exclusive prizes. Participants can join Team Green or Team Pink to add some fun competition to the night.

For those looking for a more exclusive experience, VIP tent rentals are available for $50. VIP patrons will enjoy a 10’x10’ tent with a 6’ table and six chairs, set up by Kennesaw Parks & Recreation staff. VIP ticket holders can enter early at 5:00 p.m. and relax in comfort throughout the event. VIP tents will be located towards the back of the viewing area for an unobstructed view. Swift-Cantrell Park is located at 3140 Old 41 Highway in Kennesaw. While the movie begins promptly at 8:15 p.m., guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the pre-movie festivities. Attendees may bring blankets, chairs and other comfort items, but high-backed chairs, umbrellas, tents or pop-up canopies are prohibited to ensure an unobstructed view for all.

The 2025 Outdoor Movie Series continues with The Parent Trap on May 17 and Moana 2 on June 7.
