The Kennesaw Community Watch Camera Registration program is a police/community video partnership that operates on a voluntary basis with homeowners, neighborhoods and business owners, who own private video surveillance systems. We encourage both businesses and residents to register their cameras by completing the form below.

Following a crime, police employees often go door-to-door to seek any cameras in the area that might have captured any portion of the crime or a fleeing vehicle. This process is time consuming and can delay the apprehension of the criminal at large. By registering your camera you are volunteering the police department to contact you in case a crime occurs in your area. A law enforcement officer will be able to sign into a confidential database to ascertain who has cameras in the area to obtain this vital information and move forward with their investigation in a timely manner. There is no fee or cost involved in registering your camera system.

It is NOT intended for active surveillance, and officers will NOT have direct access to homeowners’ cameras.
