The City of Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department takes pride in providing safe, healthy and fun opportunities for kids to keep active all year long, including week-long summer day camps, school break camps, action-packed sports camps and unique specialty camps.
Camp Venture Summer Day Camp
The City of Kennesaw has built a reputation for offering quality day camps that provide fun, safe, and engaging experiences where creativity and curiosity thrive. During Summer 2026, youth ages 6–12 can build self-confidence, make new friends, and enjoy nine weeks of themed activities at Camp Venture Summer Day Camp, running June 1 – July 30.
Each week has a unique theme, incorporating hands-on activities, games, arts & crafts, and occasional guest speakers, demonstrations, or field trips.

Check-In/Out: Kennesaw Recreation Center – 2737 Watts Drive
Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Early Care: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM (additional fee)
Extended Care: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (additional fee)
