Fingerprinting

Due to recommendations and guidelines for social distancing (Governor Kemp’s Executive Order 05.12.20.02), the Kennesaw Police Department is not offering fingerprint services to the general public at this time.

Cost: $25
Hours: Monday & Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

GCIC Background Checks

Cost: $15
Hours: 9 am – 3 pm  M-F (next day pick up after 8:30 a.m.)

Alcohol Pouring Permits

Cost: $25 (new); $15 (renewals)
Hours: Monday – Friday  9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (next day pick up after 12 p.m.)

Requirements

Georgia photo ID and work permit if not US citizen required.

You must satisfy the following restrictions:

  • No felony convictions within 5 years
  • No current alcohol/drug probation
  • Two or more alcohol/drug convictions within 5 yrs will result in denial
  • Omitting any arrests regardless of disposition will disqualify you for 6 months

As a reminder, masks are required in all City facilities, including City Hall, the Ben Robertson Community Center, Public Works, the Southern Museum, and Smith-Gilbert Gardens. The Kennesaw Police Department also encourages visitors to bring their own pen to fill out documents.
