The Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority and the Kennesaw Downtown Merchants Association are bringing back the First Friday Concert Series for 2026, a community favorite now in its sixth year. From April through October, excluding July, Downtown Kennesaw comes alive on the first Friday of each month with live music, local brews and food from 7 to 9 p.m. Set against the backdrop of the Main Street Plaza, each concert offers a way to unwind, connect and kick off the weekend in the heart of the city.
The lineup for the 2026 First Friday Concert Series is as follows:
April 3 – Stephanie Berlanga
Atlanta-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Stephanie Berlanga unites pop, folk and singer-songwriter influences to create soulful, melodic music with honest, captivating lyrics. She began her musical journey at age 8, performing in local coffee shops and community events. Berlanga has released original music, including her debut EP The Way Things Go. Influenced by John Mayer, Fleetwood Mac, Ed Sheeran, Ingrid Michaelson and Taylor Swift, her music is available on iTunes, Spotify and other digital platforms.
May 1 – Kränberries
High-energy alt-rock trio Kränberries blends rock, alternative, pop and classic rock covers into an unforgettable, dance-ready set. Based in Atlanta, the band delivers a lively mix of Bowie, Bizkit and more.
June 5 – Dock Rock Radio
Dock Rock Radio takes audiences on a nostalgic journey through the golden age of soft rock. With silky melodies, mellow harmonies and accurate renditions of hits from the 1970s and 1980s—including Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Kenny Loggins and Steely Dan—this six-piece band delivers a timeless, sun-soaked musical experience.
August 7 – G Clef & The Playlist
From Motown to modern hits, G Clef & The Playlist delivers an energetic, diverse mix of pop, rock, R&B and hip-hop. Led by Glen Perdew, Steve Humphrey, John Hancotte and Rob Williams, the band brings exceptional musicianship and powerful vocals, making every show a night to remember. Whether audiences want to sit back or dance, the band does it all.
September 4 – Sons N Britches
Sons N Britches blends Americana, blues, country, folk and rock, reflecting 40 years of musical collaboration between founding members Mike Mullis and Darron Meek. With a tight rhythm section led by Reverend Stacy Brown and bassist Steffans Hardin, the band delivers soulful, heartfelt performances that connect with audiences.
October 2 – Groove Daddies
Fusing blues, rock and classic hits, the Groove Daddies bring dynamic energy and infectious grooves to every performance. Fans of vintage, smooth and recognizable hits are guaranteed a fun, unforgettable night.
