Join us for an exciting Honey Extraction Exhibit! Our beekeeper, Robert Russell, will be extracting honey from the Smith-Gilbert Garden honeybee hives. Drop in anytime between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM to witness a step-by-step demonstration of how honey is extracted, filtered, and bottled. You’ll also get a chance to sample different types of honey!

Smith-Gilbert Garden is in the early stages of rebuilding our apiary, and this marks our first honey harvest in many years! Stay tuned for more educational programs about honeybees, including Beekeeping 101 coming next January.
