Come enjoy stories in the gardens with Authors Ms. Ashley and Gina Gallois! Arrive at 10:30AM for our first read aloud . Stay around and make crafts to take home. Also enjoy adult- led nature sensory activities! Then enjoy another read aloud at noon.

10:30 – 11:30 AM- Enjoy story time with Ms. Ashley, author of All of Me in Nature. Ms. Ashley is an early childhood enthusiast and play advocate based in the Atlanta area. She brings her 20+ years of experience as an early childhood teacher, museum curator, and performer as the Founder of Play Plan Afrikan, an outdoor-based early learning initiative, and Nguzo Babies (nguzobabies.com), a children’s edutainment company that uses puppetry arts for storytelling. Ms. Ashley’s passion is offering support and quality resources to families with young children to restore the beauty of childhood and family pastimes.

12:00 – 1:00 PM– Come enjoy stories like Cicada City: A Bug Club Hotel Story. This is the perfect book to celebrate the momentous cicadas emerging this year!  Gina Gallois is the author of a number of other delightful picture books about opossums and other local creatures.
